NSAC 2015-2016 Snapple
​
As PR & Promotions Specialist for WTAMU's National Student Advertising Competition Team, I was responsible for the all on-site promotions for our holistic marketing campaign. I also assisted in the development of the different creative tactics. We won 1st at regionals earning Best Promotion and went on to place 2nd in the nation at the ADMERICA 2016 Conference at Disneyland in Anaheim, CA.
NSAC 2014-2015 Pizza Hut

As Media Planner for WTAMU's National Student Advertising Competition Team, I was responsible for the media calendar for our holistic marketing campaign. I also assisted in the creative development of the different creative tactics. We sweep regionals earning Best Promotion and Best Media Plan and went on to place 7th in the nation at the ADMERICA 2015 Conference in Las Vegas.
Steps to Promise

I directed a documentary for my Advanced Video semester project called Steps to Promise. We partnered with Downtown Women’s Center (DWC) to produce a 20-minute documentary about four women in various stages of the DWC programs. This documentary was featured at the DWC Annual Luncheon with over one thousand people in attendance and was awarded 10 Bronze Telly Awards.
Shuttle Bus App Video

I wrote and directed this PSA to raise awareness about the shuttle bus service offered by WTAMU. I was responsible for acquiring the talent and securing locations for the shoot. This video was featured on the wtamu.edu website and was viewed over 800 times in its first month.
Magazine Project
​
This is a four-page article and includes a cover page. I used Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator. I work at Faith City Mission and it was from their newsletter that I received my inspiration.
Press Releases
​
As Public Relations Assistant for the Department of Communication I was responsible for writing a press release for every major event in the department. I researched organizations, took photos, attended events and interviewed students and faculty. I have written nearly 100 press releases in three semesters and most of these were published both in the local paper and online local news outlets.
Video Resume Project
​
This video was made using Adobe Premiere. It includes interview footage from my former professors from Amarillo College, former supervisors from Panhandle PBS and current supervisors from Faith City Mission.
Branding Project
​
Using my initials, I created a logo and then implemented that logo into a business card, letterhead and infographic using Adobe Illustrator.
